Sunday, July 14, 2013 – Members of Natural Resources and Protectors met for a Great Kills harbor walk at the newly renovated Crescent Beach Park shoreline. The two new stone revetments make ideal breakwaters, and serve as kayak and canoe launches. The group observed ospreys, swans, cormorants, black skimmers, and terns. The next NRPA event will be assisting at the FCA Kids fishing event on Sat., July 20. For more information, contact James Scarcella at nrpa2@aol.com.
